Social Media and Content Manager

Our client is hiring a Social Media and Content Manager to join the team.

A suitable candidate should be a motivated and multi-skilled individual that meets the requirements of the role.


  • Develop a monthly calendar for organic content to help promote the brand, special events/offers, drive business needs and drive traffic to website and work with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and manage paid campaigns and social media budget. As necessary, work with an agency to oversee paid media campaigns at key times.
  • Work with an agency on local and global channels for social media channels.
  • Support teams to deliver initiatives across all Organic/Paid/Earned/Owned activity, including scheduling content where necessary.
  • Educate the business on the value of social media, training on social tools and the latest trends and ensure social is weaved into all aspects of brand communications.
  • Work closely with PR to build relationships with key bloggers and influencers, through meet-ups, press days and events.
  • Responsible for creating daily/weekly content and upkeep of the following social media channels; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Google+.
  • Monitor and engage in customer interactions. Work with customer service to ensure queries and questions are being responded to quickly and effectively.
  • Work with the creative/shoot team to develop necessary visual assets for all content channels.
  • Write, photograph and picture-edit across all our content channels.
  • Monitor and report on monthly key findings, using relevant tools.
  • Analyse, interpret and share social media metrics to inform, advise on and implement tactical activity against a set strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with all current and emerging social media trends and move on them if appropriate for the brand.
  • Responsible for managing social media budgets and invoices such as agency retainer and paid social activity for the brand and individual hotels as required



  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate a story.
  • A working understanding of camera equipment.
  • Experience working in-house or agency side growing/developing a brand’s social strategy.
  • Proven success rate in existing social media accounts; growth on social channels of more than 100K+ followers throughout your time of managing the account/s.
  • Experience managing accounts for any high fashion/trend-focused brands or any relevant/bigger F&B brand.
  • Highly skilled in Social Media and Instagram.
  • You have worked on wider social and Marketing campaigns, to a bigger scale level.
  • You have new, fresh ideas and are trend-focused and driven by the moving market, this is visible in your portfolio.
  • You are reactive in social and playful in your style and tone, this is visible in your portfolio.
  • Proficient at using social publishing and analysis tools.
  • Strong skills in using Premier Pro and any Adobe software to assist with editing social media video content.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • A strong eye for photography.
  • The ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Windows / Mac.
  • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and protect trade secrets.
  • Must be aware and sensitive to different cultural sensibilities - we work with an international team and audience.


  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (certificate/ diploma/ degree) would be beneficial but not a requirement
