Java Developer (ECommerce)

SUMMARY

Our client is hiring a Java Developer to join the team.

A suitable candidate should be a motivated and multi-skilled individual that meets the requirements of the role.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE

• Develop quality test variations utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Utilize a test-driven development philosophy to build a quality code base.
• Research & suggest emerging technologies with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects.
• Work closely with Project Managers for setting project priorities.
• Be effective and comfortable under minimum supervision.
• Develop in an Agile environment and be flexible under special circumstances.
• Be comfortable in learning new technologies and methodologies.
• Develop key creative experiences on the desktop and mobile e-commerce sites in accordance with the site refresh cadence.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of new interactive marketing experiences.
• Partner with the web production team to scope and test interactive experience requests from the creative & marketing teams.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
• CSS.
• Javascript.
• SQL.
• Code standards and best practices.
• Dojo.
• Experience with web applications.
• Full stack E-commerce development.
• HTML.

DESIRABLE

• Experience in web and mobile development best practices.

• Certificated in IBM, SFCC or AWS.
