Our client is hiring a Junior Copywriter to join the team.
A suitable candidate should be a motivated and multi-skilled individual that meets the requirements of the role.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE
Client copywriting (with senior support where needed) - media pitches, press releases, reports, blogs, etc.
Proofread and peer-review content and copy produced by the team.
Delivering quality background research to support global projects.
Account administrative tasks, including the capture of meeting notes, team calendar management, meeting agendas and organisation.
Provide copywriting and other content marketing support for company’s own marketing, PR and website development.
Helping to develop big ideas by contributing to idea-generating brainstorms.
Supporting the team in the creation of new business materials.
Pitching in and supporting the team with ad hoc work as required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
An excellent grasp of the English language is essential, including exceptional spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Experience in creating consistent and distinctive copy styles for each communication and the ability to revise or redevelop existing campaign copy.
Confidence in communicating ideas and delivering compelling copy content across print, digital and social media.
Well-developed research skills, an enquiring mind, and a natural curiosity to find out and absorb information about unfamiliar topics, products or markets to become an expert quickly.
An ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical creativity and flair to make complex propositions simple and easy to understand.
Knowledge of working within the parameters of large corporate tone and voice guidelines to create campaign copy that can be easily localized for other language markets.
A positive ‘can-do attitude’, plus the ability to work quickly under pressure, with constant attention to detail, whilst always striving to produce the highest standard of work.
DESIRABLE
Previous agency experience, ideally within a creative or marketing environment is preferred.
